TEAM COACHINGMost people think that if you put a group of people together and give them a mutual goal you have a team! We know that there is a great deal more to building effective teams and that leaders very often lack the support of their teams and that team members often experience frustrations around working together. So what we do is provide collaborative structures for working together such as the design of team charters. People often don’t see the connection between creating a team charter and the level of motivation that comes from having clear and compelling direction and focus. The clarity that is provided eliminates people’s need to chart their own courses and gives team members a motivating reason to row in the same direction. Our Team Coaching Workshop includes the formation of a team contract as we engage in dialogue and create shared meaning around future goals and joint actions plans. After the planning phase, our coaches tend to stay in close contact with the new team for a minimum of three months to provide follow-up coaching and to ensure that momentum isn’t lost and action plans and commitments stay alive and move forward.
